Thursday, November 24, 2005 - army and the like : Today i blew $60 to buy NS stuffies.

yup. $60 to buy all the things that i will need as an almost bald recruit. what a pain.

actually, i was expecting myself to walk away with truckloads of stuff packed away in red plastic bags, but i was so totally wrong! all i will ever need are:

1. zip-lock bags

2. fishing spools

3. fat industrial like rubber bands

4. 3 rolls of black tape

5. a padlock

6. gutters

7. an L torch

8. plastic bag

9. shoe polish

10. polishing cloth

11. one PT shirt and one PT singlet

12. a cheap black watch

13. a cheap LOUD alarm clock

and thats it! and now you must be wondering how it can cost so much right? its all the watch and clock's fault... they cost $35 in total. -__- so much for being cheap.

but anyways, shortly after i came home, i tried on the army singlet and it was actually pretty comfy! so i decided to use it for my run. which was not very good at all.

i just recovered from a bout of cold 4 days ago and it STILL is bugging me. and on top of that, i got stitches (read: pain at either side of abdomen when running) when i was running. darn it.

so my run ended pre-maturely and to my ultimate dismay. (T_T)

and i found out a horrifying fact.

The army singlets do not soak up sweat well.
...

oh the horror. so much so that i got a fuuunny pattern on my singlet after the run.
